THAVENET Vincent aka
Vinz el tabanas 19/08/1984

After my studies in advertising storyboarding, I trained in various graphic techniques, from print to model making, including animation, motion design and 3D. 

​

I've also worked on various illustration projects and concepts for Marvel comics, Urban Rivals, the Alien license for Legendary Encounters (Upperdeck and Fox), Marvel 75th anniversary (Upperdeck), Existenz X610z trading card, Hammer light FX , including covers for Zenescope's Grim Fairy tales Wonderland and for Coffin comics on Lady Death... Freelance in video games for various companies: FDJ, Wireless Generation, Collision Studio, Canal +, Millimages, Golden moustache for Microsoft X-box one...

From 2004 to 2012, I mainly worked in advertising agencies, then I made a shift to specialize in the video game industry by working for different companies in France such as familia games, millimages, SR game on a full-time or freelance basis as Lead art/concept.    

 

In 2015, I moved to Quebec to work at Ludia Inc as a 2D/3D Concept Artist/Storyboarder and contributed to the games :Battle Star Galactica, TMNT Legends, WYS, Dungeons and Dragons: Wariors of Waterdeep...

From 2018 to 2022, I worked for BEHAVIOUR as Senior Concept artist and Storyboarder on the game DEAD BY DAYLIGHT. I was in charge of the lore concept characters and enviro intended for cinematic 2D parralaxes that I realize alone, from storyboard to animatics, to painting, motion and FX.

 

In 2022, I was Lead concept artist at Phoenix Labs on 2 projects still in NDA.

 

Since the end of 2022, I've been working for Reflector Bandai namco, on several projects as Senior Concept Artist.
